Fair Fun and More...

Paisley and her little buddy Elliot. They are 5 weeks apart. Elliot's mom Summer and I were pregnant together and are now enjoying the newborn stage together.
Cooper wanted to get in on the picture action. Doesn't he look thrilled to be holding his sister?
The kids at the fair in Waterville. Cooper loved all the excitement and Paisley loved all the lights once it got a bit dark.
Cooper checking out the geese.

Cooper got to taste cotton candy for the first time at the fair. I think the texture threw him off. He didn't even want to taste it. I think he thought we were trying to feed him something non-eatable!

He decided he like it after all.

Paisley with my Grandparents. Cooper was supposed to be on my Granddad's lap but wouldn't do it until we showed him the picture with Paisley and no Cooper. Then he wanted in too!

Cooper spent the couple of days before Labor day weekend with my parents in Wilbur. He got lots of train time in with Grandpa and had a great time.

My parents brought Cooper to Ellensburg on Friday night and we got to enjoy the Labor Day festivities with his other Grandparents. This is how the kids watched the parade. I think they were the warmest and driest people there. I know they were warmer and dryer than me by a long shot!

Cooper got both pairs of his pajamas dirty that I had packed for his trip. So he got to wear these pretty girl ones that his Grandma had bought as a gift for his cousin. Mommy and her girls....

Daddy's Little Girl?

On Sunday, after church and between rain storms we made it to the fair. Cooper got to ride several rides thanks to his Grandma Young.

That is Lance's sister Tami and her Daughter Remi next to them.

The little turkey did not want to cooperate but we did get some good shots thanks to a talented photographer and some bribery!

Cooper This Summer

This summer has been an eventful one. We spent the first part of the summer waiting for Paisley to make her arrival. Because I had contractions for a L O N G time before she actually came, we were in limbo for a while. Here are some pictures of Cooper during this summer.

Lance and Grandpa Cobb took Cooper down to the train that is at a park here in town. They run every other weekend. Cooper LOVED it! He still asks to look at the pictures.

Cooper is a BIG fan of trains. Here he is playing with his in the living room and showing Paisley how they work.
We went camping in Priest lake a couple of weeks ago. We had fun but it was an adventure. We did not have good weather at all. It rained a TON! Camping with a 2 1/2 year old and a 3 week old will not be recommended to anyone by the Young family!
Here Lance and Cooper got ready to swim in the COLD lake in between rain storms! Cooper really did not like the cold water!

In between rain storms, Cooper got to ride in Grandpa Young's "fast boat". He is still talking about it!

While I was folding laundry the other day, Cooper got my lotion bottle and put it in his hair like shampoo and on his face like war paint. The little stinker! At least he smelled good!

Earlier in the summer, Lance took a class that had a fitness component to it. He took Cooper on his outings and took pictures with the newspaper as proof he did it. I thought some of them came out too cute to not share.

We did manage to make it up to Smallwoods Farm and Petting Zoo a couple times this summer.

Lance and Cooper's hike up Saddlerock. Watch out world, this kid can GO!

Lance re-did our deck this summer. Our old deck was a sliver nightmare for Cooper. He was able to put composite decking in and we like it MUCH better. Cooper was a great helper! I'm sure Lance would have been done in half the time without him, but they had a great time!
A couple of days after Paisley was born, we went to the park to get Cooper out of the house. Cooper got to eat his first ice cream cone all by himself.

Here is a cute picture of Cooper with his cousins Raife and Remi playing in the "kid" cupboard in Grandma Young's kitchen.

We had the pleasure of having a visit from Grandpa Rizor (my dad) yesterday. Cooper informed me that this was "Grandpa Bill" when he was looking at the pictures. Too cute!
