Our Trip To Smallwoods Petting Zoo

On Sunday we woke up and decided to go to Smallwoods in the morning and catch the evening service at church. It ended up being FREEZING but only Lance and I seemed to feel the cold! Cooper ran around like crazy and didn't seem to mind the cold at all. He ran from one animal to the next for around an hour. And he kept falling in the mud so he ended up riding home in just his onesie. He really did have a great time!

My muddy boy!

This turkey seemed to love Cooper. It would slowly wander to wherever he was. It never seemed scared of him at all. He even touched it a few times, although Lance and I tried to keep that from happening. We didn't trust Mr. Turkey!

Two of a kind?

My Silly Boy!!

This is how I found Cooper in his crib two mornings in a row! How he got his arm out of his PJs and his sleep sack without un-zipping anything is beyond me. He seemed quiet pleased with himself!

Cooper hanging out with Janell, the intern from our church who lives with us. Cooper LOVES Janell!
Proof we do feed the child!

I'm a cowboy!

A cool one at that!

Halloween night, he would NOT let me take pictures of him. I'm glad I took him into Sears before hand!

Preschool is SOOO much fun!!!

Today when I dropped Cooper off at preschool, his teachers gave me a bunch of pictures of him in class. I decided you all might want to see some of them. I included only the ones that show no other child's face as it is one thing to plaster my own child's face on here, and another one entirely to put another child's face on here! Cooper really does LOVE his time at preschool and always greets his teachers with giant smiles and hugs. For those who might not remember, Cooper is attending preschool as a "typical role model" at the Pediatric Therapy Center. He is enrolled in the Spanish class.

Here is Cooper practicing the stairs with Miss Katie, his teacher

Playing on the swing in the gross motor skills room

Yum, they feed me lunch here!

Who knows what he's baking!?!

It looks like he just got done painting something!

Mr. Happy!

Being a "car" and practicing walking on the ramp

"I want to be bald like Daddy!!"

Enjoying a book with one of the therapists

"Let me teach you about the color white..."

Playing like a big boy!

Finger painting with shaving cream on the tables

Playing in the sensory table with friends (I figure this one is ok since you can't see their faces!)

See the ball pit in the background. This is one fun place!

Playing with a baby in his pretend bed!

Fried carrots anyone?

Some Type of Reptile

We took Cooper into get his pictures done in his Halloween costume this week. They turned out adorable! I'm not 100% sure what he is dressed as, a lizard? A dragon? A dinosaur? We decided he is a reptile of one type or another. We had a really hard time finding him a costume this year. They were either too big, too small, or $50!! You all know I am WAY too cheap to spend that kind of money on a costume. And then I found this one at the outlet mall in North Bend for $12, so a reptile he is. And honestly, I like it as well or better than any more expensive ones I found! Feel free to cast your vote in the comment section as to what you think he is!!!

Him cracking up

Trick or Treat!
Who wouldn't give a whole bag of candy to a guy this cute?

I can barley see out!!!

I'm so camouflaged you can't see me!!!

My favorite pose!

Too adorable!!!

Roseola

Yup, the little man got Roseola a couple of weeks ago. It was a rough go in the Young house hold for about a week. He came down with a sudden high fever and all he wanted to do was sleep. Then a couple of days later, his fever went down to the 100 range and he broke out in a rash. Typical Roseola. BUT he seemed to feel WORSE after the rash. That part was not so typical. After a couple of days, at the earging of Nurse Tami (AKA Aunt Tami), we took him in to the doctor. He had is first ear infection right along with the roseola. Poor kid was miserable! A little antibiotics and a couple days later, he was as good as new! Here are some pics from his rash.
Oh, and since he didn't seem to follow the "typical" course of Roseola, I was convinced that he had caught some kind of rare cooties from the deer (see Conconully post below...). Lance kept telling me that he was fine, but I just new we should be calling up Dr. House! I guess I am a bit overly paranoid when it comes to my baby!
